Answered — Privacy Policy

Answered ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Answered is a private prayer journal that helps you write prayers, track outcomes, and pray with groups.

Information we collect

Account information: When you sign up (with email, Apple, or Google), we collect your email address and name. Sign in with Apple may relay a private email address.
Your content: The prayers, reflections, notes, outcomes, life verse, and prayer categories you create. Prayers you choose to share to a group are visible to that group's members.
Group information: Group names, membership, an optional group logo image you upload, and prayers shared within the group.
Purchase information: Subscription/purchase status, managed via Apple and our payment processor (RevenueCat). We never see or store your card details.
Usage data: Basic, app-related usage needed to provide features (e.g., prayer reminders and AI usage limits). Some usage data may be processed on your device only.

How your information is stored and protected

Your data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL) and protected by Row-Level Security, so each account can only access its own data.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
Your prayers are private by default and are never shared unless you post them to a group.

Third-party services we use We share data only with service providers needed to run the app:

Supabase — secure database, authentication, and storage.
Anthropic (Claude AI) — when you use the "Enhance with AI" or verse-suggestion features, the prayer text you submit is sent to Anthropic to generate the response. It is processed to return your result and is not used to train models. If you don't use these features, no prayer text is sent.
RevenueCat & Apple — to process and validate purchases.
Apple / Google — for sign-in, if you choose those options.

We do not sell your personal information or your prayers.
